Edelman & Thompson is a Kansas City personal injury law firm, serving both Kansas and Missouri residents. Our main office is one block east of the Country Club Plaza. We also have offices in the Northland, Independence, Lenexa and Olathe. However, it is not necessary to ever visit one of our offices to be a client. The firm has won more injury cases in Kansas City courts than any other firm 2011-2025, including courtroom wins for both car accident injury and work injury cases. Ron Edelman and James Thompson founded the firm in 1994 after first working as insurance defense lawyers. Other firm lawyers also have defense experience or have worked within the workers' compensation system. Carl Mueller was a work comp judge for 20 years.

I was recently in an auto accident where I was struck from behind by an over the road truck driver. Knowing that this would be far more involved than a typical accident resolution, I knew this wasn't something I wanted to try handling on my own. My doctor's office had given me a list of recommended lawyers, but had specifically pointed out Leah Mason and Edelman & Thompson on the list, so I reached out to her first. I can't begin to imagine how I would have navigated this without her and her team.
